Past collaborators and founding story

Brief Shalimar began in 2024 with our first salon at Galerie Roshana in Paris 08. 
A group of Parsons Paris alumni consisting of Zahra Mansoor, Fiona McDonnell, Demir Ramazanov, Keerthana Karthikeyan, and Joseph Anderson, came together to start something new.

Brief Shalimar is a periodic, artist-run, experimental art salon. Coined after Lahore's Shalimar Gardens, which were laid out as a Persian paradise "charbagh" intended to create an earthly representation of utopia, the Brief Shalimar aims to create an ephemeral utopia through collective, multisensory experiences.
